We had to place Bev’s mother in a nursing home in Solon, Iowa and needed to sell her home of 52 years as soon as possible. After 52 years there was an accumulation of items that needed to be discarded and of course some cleaning that needed to take place. Sue guided us through that process and her understanding of the desires and needs of potential buyers proved to be invaluable. Once the house was put in shape Sue scheduled an open house and an offer and sale resulted from that open house. Sue’s understanding of the Omaha market was invaluable as she listed the house at what turned out to be the selling price and the appraised value for loan purposes. Sue Henson assisted us with both the sale of our home and the purchase of a new home. She was extremely knowledgeable in the best ways to stage our home that made it the best presentation for potential buyers. We purchased a home through an estate sale and she was extremely proficient in understanding everything necessary in order to ensure the proper paperwork was completed. She also found other document issues prior to closing which were able to be resolved well in advance of our closing date. Working with Sue Henson in both selling and buying a house was a great experience! My wife and I first met with Sue 2 years ago when the market was down to explore our options. She offered expert and HONEST feedback on what our house would sell for and after some thought my wife and I decided that the time was just not right. It was hard to call Sue and tell her that we decided not to follow through on the original plan of putting it up on the market.
